The freely sculptural composition is now transformed into an architectural one. The project moves into its second crucial phase: definition of spaces.

The flow of house and continuity of design are very important. A spatial sequence, which dissolves the conventions of traditional interiors and allows for multiple views.

Further requirements are: one bedroom, reading area, a bathroom with a view, smoking balcony, guest room and garage. An open gallery with a  multi - story space lit by sufficient natural light.

The house emerged from a piece of artificial ground.

Special Features

Chaos is considered as a succession of diverse orders. This idea take form of four superposed grids, which were used to defined the out line and interior shape. With the complex grid as a base, irregularities are free but not fortuitous or arbitrary.

The structure is also placed on this grid. There are columns inside, but walls absorb them. The four walls supporting the floors and roof were set internally within the outer skin, thus allowing greater freedom and the sense of openness in the facade design.

The north face to the street is a largely closed facade with a small percentage of Windows surface.

The south facade is generously glazed with a metal facade finishing as a second skin.

It is proposed in order to provide the effects between transparency and opaqueness and the protection of over heating in summer.

The glazed skin is in a frameless form of construction with different kinds of glass  - translucent, clear,

colored - .

The glass and the perforated sheets create effects of

different degrees of blockage, openness, permeability

and translucence.
